- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I think I am fair with my prices. I price my product dependent on how much work and time it takes. I also bake from scratch each time, fresh products, and use good quality ingredients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask for exactly what they want and what they envision. I ask how big their crowd would be and give a variety of flavors for them to choose from. I also offer a small cake tasting box for an amount that would go towards their balance if ordering with me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to an Art school and have loved drawing always. When I started making cakes, I watched a lot of YouTube videos. I learned a lot this way. I also bothered a lot a family friend that went to culinary school and has made cakes for a few years. And just recently I have taken a few classes to keep getting better. There is a world to learn out there about baking and cake decorating.
