Introduction

My studio is located in Winter Garden, Florida where I offer both in-person and virtual lessons. I hold a MM degree in Piano Performance from Yale University. While playing concerts and collaborating with artists is something I enjoy doing, teaching piano and finding ways to make the learning process fun, creative, and enjoyable has been a great passion of mine for the past 17 years! I specialize in Zoom lessons and have been doing so for the past two years. My lessons are structured, tailored to the individual needs/interests of each student. You do get to text me with questions or send me a recording throughout the week with questions and get the answers within 24 hours. In addition, you will likely receive a high quality recording to go with the lesson tasks each week. I am very student-oriented, work with parents to encourage healthy practicing habits and strive to provide my students with a positive and dynamic virtual learning experience.

We love Elena! Making music learning enjoyable has been a great experience. We hold our lessons over zoom and my son learned to memorize a song on the piano in a month! I wish I had these lessons as a kid. So grateful to have an awesome piano teacher like Elena

Elena is phenomenal as a teacher and person. She responded only moments after I requested having lessons. She patiently listening to what kind of help I needed and we spoke at length to determine if she could help me relearn how to play, as I had not played in over 4 decades . Now that I’m retired I was eager to get my skills back , and even help my grandchildren learn. Once I began my lessons, I was both inspired and more motivated than ever. Elena gives very detailed instruction and technical support..constantly. She listens to questions I may have and instantly incorporates those areas into the valuable lessons. Always moving forward and broadening my knowledge of theory. I love how organized her approach is, starting with warm up methods , playing various areas of music to share constructive feedback..and Support.. I love how focused she is in tailoring just the right blend of musical Interest and difficulty. She is a hard worker with high standards and has an excellent work ethic…and wants the very best for me..

My daughter and I feel so very blessed to have Ms. Elena for my daughters piano teacher these last 8 years. She is AMAZING. My daughter has thrived under her direction and surpassed my expectations in her ability. What I appreciate so much about her is the balance of praise and constructive criticism. This has boosted my daughters self esteem so much. We wouldn’t trade her for anything! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Children age 4-18, adults 18-65 and above 😊 from very beginners to highly advanced. Some of my students chose to pursue a career in music, other continued taking lessons in college while working on a different degree.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A free interview/assessment. I design a specific lesson plan based on the individual needs/preferences of each students. Generally, we work on three different aspects of piano playing: warm-ups (technique) and/or music theory; artistry ( includes pieces that introduce a specific playing concept), fun project: this is often an arrangement of music my pupil really wants to play. I specifically include concepts already studied. For certain students, that would be their original composition.

A Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the Yale School of Music.
