FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer two pricing options for our services, allowing clients to choose the one that best suits their needs at the start of the project. Option 1: Hourly Rate Our hourly rate is $60 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours per person. If materials are needed, delivery fees apply: $30 for small items, $50 for large, and $100 for extra-large items. Note that we charge only for actual labor hours, not for time spent purchasing materials. Trash removal fees range from $100-$250, depending on load size. Option 2: Fixed Rate This is an all-inclusive, flat rate agreed upon at the beginning of the project. It includes any necessary store trips, additional workers if needed, and trash hauling (unless specified otherwise). The flat rate is based on the estimated maximum time, labor, and store trips required for the project. Important Notes: Materials are not included in either option; our quotes are labor-only (unless otherwise specified). Any materials purchased will be reimbursed with receipts provided; we do not profit on materials. For projects longer than one day (8 hours), we require a 35% deposit. Final payments for labor and materials are due upon completion (unless otherwise agreed). We’re here to make sure your project runs smoothly and efficiently, giving you flexibility and transparency in pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Baccuma Construction, we follow a structured and transparent process to ensure every project is completed to the highest standards while keeping the customer’s experience seamless and stress-free. Here’s a detailed overview of how we work with new clients from the initial consultation through to project completion. 1. Initial Consultation and Discovery The first step in our process is an in-depth consultation with the client. We focus on understanding your vision, needs, and goals for the project. Whether you’re looking for a kitchen remodel, new home construction, or wooden stairs for a mobile home, we gather all the necessary information at this stage. Key Aspects of the Initial Consultation: Understanding Your Needs: We discuss your project goals, design preferences, timeline, and budget. Site Evaluation: If applicable, we conduct an on-site visit to assess the space, take measurements, and identify any potential challenges or opportunities. Material Selection: We provide guidance on choosing the best materials that match your aesthetic preferences and budget. 2. Customized Proposal and Estimate Once we have a clear understanding of your project, we create a detailed proposal tailored to your specific requirements. This proposal includes a comprehensive estimate outlining the cost of materials, labor, and any additional fees related to permits or custom designs. What the Proposal Includes: Project Scope: A detailed breakdown of the work to be done. Cost Estimate: A clear outline of the costs involved, including options for material upgrades. Timeline: A proposed timeline for the completion of the project. Payment Plan Options: We offer various payment structures, including installment plans, which will be discussed in the proposal. 3. Design and Planning Phase For projects that require design or architectural input, we move into the design phase after the proposal is approved. This is especially important for custom kitchens, full home renovations, or large-scale construction projects. During this phase, our design team works closely with you to refine the project details and ensure that everything aligns with your vision. Key Steps: Blueprints and 3D Renderings: We create detailed designs and, when necessary, provide 3D renderings to help you visualize the final result. Permits and Approvals: We handle any necessary permits and approvals from local authorities, ensuring that the project adheres to local building codes. 4. Execution and Construction Once the design and planning are finalized, we move into the construction phase. Our skilled team of professionals begins the work, following the timeline and scope outlined in the proposal. During the Construction Phase: Regular Updates: We keep you informed at every stage of the process, providing updates on progress and addressing any questions or concerns you may have. Quality Control: Our project managers ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards, inspecting every phase to ensure quality craftsmanship. Site Cleanliness: We maintain a clean and organized work site to minimize disruption to your daily life. 5. Final Walkthrough and Completion Upon completing the project, we conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure every detail meets your expectations. This is an opportunity for you to review the work and provide feedback. Final Steps: Punch List Resolution: If any minor adjustments are needed, we address them immediately. Project Handover: Once the final walkthrough is complete and you are satisfied, we hand over the project, ensuring that you are fully informed about the work done and how to maintain any installations. 6. Post-Project Support At Baccuma Construction, our relationship with clients doesn’t end when the project is completed. We offer ongoing support to ensure your satisfaction. Post-Project Services: Warranties and Guarantees: We stand by the quality of our work, offering warranties on materials and labor. Future Maintenance: Should you require maintenance or additional work in the future, we are just a phone call away. Conclusion Baccuma Construction’s process for working with new customers is built around clear communication, transparency, and meticulous attention to detail. From the initial consultation through to the final walkthrough, we ensure that every step of the process aligns with your expectations and results in a high-quality, lasting finish.
