Miguel and I agreed on a price for pop corn ceiling knockdown and painting my two bed room apartment. After spending a week knocking down and leveling the ceiling he decided he did not want to come back and finish the job. I practically begged him to come finish his work. I paid him in full for the ceiling job which was a big mistake, I told him I didn’t want to pay him upfront and he insisted that he needed money upfront to complete the job. After sending him multiple messages and calls he responded and told me he can’t come back. He then tried to renegotiate the price for the work he quote me. I asked him to finish painting the ceiling which I paid for. He said he would come back and he never did and did not respond. MIGUEL IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD AND WILL RUN WITH YOUR MONEY DO NOT USE.

Andrew, we agreed "popcorn removal is ONE job and paint is a separate job". this is a Word for Word copy and paste from our agreement. the proposal you speak of was before on site inspection. on site we discussed a price without paint. later you asked for pricing on painting and wall paper removal in bathroom and kitchen. I asked you put this on the app. when you put this on the app you added things we did not discuss. post on site quote and inspection, you removed kitchen backslash and expect me to repair for free. you removed bathroom mirror that needs repair before paint. I only agreed to the living room mirror being removed. the plumber who came after me made many damages. hardware was removed. then later you decide to remove drop ceiling. none of these things were presented during on site inspection. changes to the property after the onsite inspection and quote is not appropriate. I completed the first job and asked only for a 30% up front deposit as is customary in this business. I did not accept any money for the second job ,(painting) and am not interested in the second Job for the price originally quoted because many changes have been made since the original inspection and quote. quotes are made based on the condition of the property at time of inspection. any changes home owner makes after initial quote changes the condition of the property, work, and thus quote.
