My regular groomer, who comes inside the home, was away. My backup groomer had a backlog. My dog is an older rescue who’s skittish with strangers and who doesn’t like being groomed. And our first experience with a groomer who used a van was not a good one. The groomer was prompt, got my dog comfortable, and gave her the simple short cut I asked for. I didn’t ask for a specific kind of cut; I just wanted my dog to be healthy and comfortable, and not spend more time in the grooming process than was necessary because of my dog’s history.
