Introduction
Our law firm is limited to handling divorce and family court cases. Most of our clients are female, and the many of our cases are handled on a fixed-price basis. Usually when our firm is involved there is an important business valuation/asset tracing issue, the need to confront a difficult person, a long-term financial support claim, or a serious issue involving children. We pride ourselves on developing and implementing divorce strategies designed to get our clients a fair result, as soon as possible, so that the client can focus their energy on having the life they desire and deserve when their divorce is over.

Its not often you find a divorce attorney they is ethical, honest, and at the same time willing to do what needs to be done in the best interest of his/her client. That is exactly what you get when you retain Chris. From our first meeting, Chris laid out the facts of my not so simple divorce. Rather than try to take advantage of me as most attorneys would, Chris advised me to spend a little more (alimony) versus spending upwards of $5-10k to fight what may or may not have saved me the same amount. He could have taken my money and told me I had a decent chance of winning, but he chose to be honest and ethical. My divorce is just about 18 months in the rear view and things come up from time to time that I need Chriss counsel. Ive always been able to get a hold of him, and Ive always received prompt and honest responses. While divorce should be your last resort (something Chris belives strongly), if you are in thay unfortunate situation do yourself a favor and have Chris represent you.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our firm charges fixed prices for handling stages of divorce cases. While every case is different, the price typically ranges between $8,500-12,500 to represent a client through the first 60 days of a divorce case without any major court hearings or depositions. We also offer pricing where we bill by the hour. Typically a $10,000 trust account deposit is required and our attorneys charge between $300-450 per hour.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step is to schedule a consultation and strategy session to determine the client's divorce goals and objectives, and then a strategy to facilitate the goals and objectives that makes the client comfortable. From that point on, our process focuses on achieving our client's divorce goals based on the agreed upon action plan, with extreme care on making sure our client remains comfortable and informed throughout the process.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Christopher R. Bruce has an accounting degree and has limited his law practice to divorce and family law since June 2009. He is board certified in marital and family law by the Florida Bar, which is a certification that less than 300 lawyers have in Florida. All of the firm's other 4 divorce lawyers exclusively handle only divorce and family law matters.
