FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50 for 30 minutes, $75 for 45 minutes and $100 for an hour. The first lesson is free and I provide free lessons for student referrals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the free trial lesson, I introduce myself and get to know the student before starting with teaching. I like to know the student’s plans and goals. I am a big believer in helping my students play with ease. So I assign scales, etudes, and short pieces before working on any major sonatas or concertos. Developing practice habits that will create progress is a key philosophy to me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor and Masters degree from Lynn Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. I also have a Performance Certificate from Mount Royal Academy and an Artist Diploma from The Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto, Canada where I studied with John Kadz and Desmond Hoebig. After graduating, I performed with three professional orchestras in Ontario and maintained a large cello studio.
