David Van Ginhoven of DC construction was called upon to investigate the reason for a door jam and part of a French door rotting and the development of mold in the same area. I appreciated his professional and analytical approach in investigating the source of the problem. After a fact gathering visit he made a special visit to my home to explain he suggested approach to resolve the issue. I was impressed with the well equipped trailer that housed all the tools necessary to complete the job which included replacing the door and repairing part of the roof which was the source of the problem. In all a job very well done by David and his employee with a pleasant and pleasing demeanor. Thanks for a project well executed..

Our project was a kitchen renovation. We chose D.C Construction because of all of the good ratings they've earned. From the beginning to the end, working with Harley, Cynthia, and the entire crew was a very positive experience. With any remodeling projects there are some issues that come up; old buildings are not perfectly square or level. We changed our mind on one of the cabinets, changing a base to drawers instead of a door. Harley had suggested drawers in the first place, but I insisted a door would be more flexible for my needs. I was soooooo wrong; we returned the door base and replaced it with a drawer base. Harley and Cynthia took it all in stride, even though it caused more work for them. The vendors that they work with were also very helpful and professional. If any problems came up, they were very good at making things right. That kind of service comes from building good relationships, over the years, with their subcontractors. Finally, the crew was an amazing group of guys; they were here on a daily basis. they were highly skilled at their crafts, professional, timely, and courteous, They worked hard the whole time they were here. They made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. In summary, I would highly recommend D.C. Construction for any remodeling or building projects. Our project finished on time and within budget. Our neighbors took a tour last night and loved the layout, the quality products, and the fantastic workmanship. Many thanks to Harley, Cynthia and the crew at D.C.!!!

I am not always the cheapest contractor in town. But, I guarantee satisfaction on every job, unconditionally.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will come out and meet with you on site to go over your plans. I'm happy to offer suggestions to help keep the project costs down without sacrificing quality. I try to turn my quotes around within 48 hours and offer free 3D drawing services for those homeowners that like to see the vision before committing. Once a project is accepted, my wife and I come back out to finalize the agreement and take before pictures. At the conclusion of the job, we return to take the after pictures. Since we are committed to 100% satisfaction, we love to hear the feedback from our clients on how we can improve our services in the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is completed every 2 years as required by law.
