- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a 10% discount for all First Responders and active/ retired military. We also have a referral program for our customers who refer our services, they receive a free month of service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to go and visit with the homeowner, and listen to what needs or problems they may be having with their pool, or just what they are looking to have done. Then I inspect the pool and the pool equipment. This way I can not only explain to them if anything might be wrong, plus I can show them as well, and inform them of what I would do to correct any problems, if there were any. At that point I would give them a quote on what they would be charged each month.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
About 7yrs ago, while I was still living in NY, I had a good friend of mine who was building custom, high end pools. He needed someone to do the start up after the pool was built, and also needed someone to perform the weekly maintenance. He needed someone who was not only hard working, but also who knew what they were doing. Besides my knowledge of pool care, I have just always loved an opportunity to work outdoors. So when we moved here, 5yrs ago, it was one of my first priorities to see how I could get into the industry. Everyday I’m so grateful I made the choice to join this industry.
