FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to have a phone call with the customer to get an idea of what services he or she needs. Then, I research price information in preparation for our first meeting. If possible, I attempt to make a prototype bouquet or centerpiece to take to our first meeting. I meet with the customer at a mutually convenient location with my laptop computer and my notes and research about costs. When I meet with the customer, I try to get every detail I can both about the customer's vision and any concerns about costs, preferences and dislikes, and get a strong idea of the vibe that the customer is trying to achieve so that I can prepare a final, detailed proposal to meet the customer's needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have loved flowers since I was a little girl in my grandmother's garden. I have been in a career that involved a great deal of planning, preparation, dealing with unexpected developments, and helping people deal with emotionally charged, very sad situations. In this line of work, I get to do a great deal of planning, preparation, dealing with some unexpected developments, while being creative and helping people enjoy what may be the happiest day of their lives.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with local couples as well as couples who are using Central Florida as a destination wedding. We are LGBTQ friendly and are happy to help you manage even a modest budget if necessary. We have also provided flowers for corporate events and large luxurious weddings. We can provide additional decor such as vases, candle holders, signs, easels, backdrops and arches as well as floral arrangements. Our prices are competitive and we have relationships with many vendors to help you locate decor items that we may not carry.
