Alejandro has been extremely helpful in improving my chess game. His lessons have brought me from 1300 to 1600 in just a few months. I started playing chess May 1st of 2023 and started working with Alejandro three or so months later after wanting to just improve. To say Alejandro helped my chess game would be a complete understatement. While the progress I made working with him can literally be quantified, going from 500-1700 in one year, his guidance outside our lessons is what truly made the difference. Not only does he work with you during your schedule times but he also reviews your games in between lessons and will send you additional notes comments and suggestions. Additionally, I personally appreciated that he is an active player as he is able to reflect on his own games in progress and share in your learning. Working with him was so inspiring that I even entered my first over-the-board tournament which just furthered my passion for this awesome activity. If you're brand new to chess, have a little bit of experience, or want to expand your game and learn some new lines, Alejandro is exactly what you need. Can't thank him enough.

Alejandro is a great chess teacher and it's hard to pick just three things I like about working with him. Alejandro has helped me improve my chess rating from 200 ELO to almost 1000 ELO over the last year and a half. I now know many names of chess openings, many important chess tactics, and much much more. I am always glad to play chess and learn from my mistakes with this amazing chess teacher.

Working with Alejandro enabled me to finally break through the 900 ELO barrier. We did so by meeting three times a week with a very clear plan that was easy to implement and most importantly easy to make it a part of my learning experience. I am now at 1260 and I am looking forward to continue my journey.
