Unfortunately this is not the whole story. We came out to your house and found that the blower motor wasnt working correctly. We let you know of this and looked into the manufacture warranty for you. While doing this we found out that the company that installed your unit never registered the 10 year parts. When we contacted the supply house they said they could probably go by the install date which was 5 years to the date, that week. Which was cutting it close! We informed the customer of this and said the supply house seems like they are going to honor the install date. However, since it was so close in time we felt it was necessary to let the customer know if they do not honor the warranty, the cost of the motor from the supply house is over $600 dollars. Thats our price of a (oem non-warranty motor) The customer did not want to take the chance of having to pay for the motor and said they wanted to call the company that put it in originally since they dealt with the warranty.
