As a paint contractor this team did a great job. They took the hardware off. Masked off everything in the bathroom. Sanded the tub . Wiped down everything and cleaned tub. Applied primer 2 part epoxy urethane took a 40 min lunch for drying. Applied the white epoxy finish. Just be aware the fumes are strong. I’m used to it as I painted commercial 45 years. My family stayed on the porch and pool for the 4 hr process. The women and man Sorry forgot names were in early 30s from Puerto Rico . They are very polite and trustworthy. Hard to find that in the construction industry anymore. Also don’t expect a car finish product. Some dust did find its way to the tub but with 2 coats it will last . The hardware will have to be installed the next day. if you’re not mechanically inclined, find someone who is . You will need plumbers putty. Possibly new drain and tub stop. Mine cleaned up sufficiently. YouTube helps a lot. I use it all the time. Years since I installed this tub so I YouTube it just to be sure. Don’t clean the tub with harsh chemicals. Just soap and water. Before and after photo attached. Ohh if you have an air conditioning vent outside where this ventilation tube comes out which I did by the garage make sure you keep it away from the AC unit. The dust will accumulate on the coils. Installed May 10th . Anyway, hope this helps everyone else as I put the tub back together today. Preston Apopka Fl
