FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer when possible to see the space being considered. It is sometimes unnecessary to do so, but in most situations I feel it has an upside effect of putting both you and I face to face, allowing ideas and dialogue to be front and center and gives more information (to you, the consumer) needed for your decision(s). I then like to provide drawings/renderings of your vision to better help you see the finished proposal. I do this without any obligation whatsoever. Never do I push my work or make it difficult for any prospective client to make their decisions. My feeling is that it takes care of itself, and by satisfying the design, timing, cost criteria. You are fully informed of the process and the outcome. I will quote general prices and do so often, even without seeing things, but I do feel when available, that it’s the easiest way to proceed for both parties.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There’s certainly more to a mural than a square foot price. Hiring an artist that has the ability and desire to interpret your ideas and design sense into something tasteful and timeless, often makes a significant difference in the final results. I also feel that the importance of working with someone comfortable for you to work with is often understated and can add greatly to the overall experience. Don’t get me wrong, the artistic abilities are certainly at the top of the list of criteria, but by satisfying other work/process related issues that pertain to your job requirements. Your success is pretty much guaranteed.
