FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I structure my packages to be comprehensive and the prices vary based on the service and package, and available upon private request. I offer premium services with my 15+ years of experience so your investment will bring you lots of returns via a polished style that makes you feel authentic & exudes confidence.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We normally start with my 2 core services: a Style Development Session and a Color Analysis. Through this 2 hour experience, we work on defining your authentic style through exploring the ABC's & elements of style (color, line, silhouettes, proportions, etc.), and come up with a formula for getting dressed so you can get excited about your wardrobe and project the message you want to project with your look every day. We then go onto a Closet Edit, where we go through your wardrobe and determine what works for your style, figure, color palette, etc. - and get rid of what doesn't - so your "working closet" only consists of clothes that you wear. We create outfits out of the clothes in your closet, so there are no "orphans" left - and you can always look polished in whatever you put on. This also helps us generate a "needs" list (a shopping list) of missing items, which we then set out to acquire at a subsequent Personal Shopping Session. After the initial Personal Shopping Session, I offer services to complete the experience - such as Accessorizing, Makeup Routine Development, Closet Re-Merchandising, etc. I also recommend scheduling "touch-up" Shopping Sessions every few months to update your wardrobe for the upcoming season, as well re-evaluate what's in it that might not work anymore. Please note: I usually recommend following this order of services for most optimal results, but am flexible with skipping a Closet Edit at times if you feel that you'd like to just start over with your wardrobe, don't feel that you have enough clothing in your wardrobe to warrant a session, or if you're traveling from out of town. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions of how we can best structure your unique package to fit your goals and image development needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my certifications from FIT (in Image Consulting) and IRC (Image Resource Center of New York) - in Color Analysis, Wardrobe Editing and Personal Shopping training. I have an FLC (First Level Certification) and am an Associate Member at AICI (Association of Image Consultants International). I try to attend my chapter educational events and the yearly conference to stay on top of industry trends, and take continuing education courses in various areas to fulfill my CEU's and add more value for my clients.
