TERRIBLE and DISHONEST OWNER I hired Zac Kreuter, from Kreuter's Movers to move furniture from a rental home in Orlando to Virginia. I met Zac and his relative, Mike, at the house in January. I explained all contents needed to be packed up and moved to Virginia. I called Mike from Virginia and let him know we would use his company. I explained I wouldn't be there but could remotely let them in. I emphasized the importance of the linens and asked how he would pack them. Mike assured me he would box them and keep them clean. I was not local when Mike and Zac personally packed up the truck. Mike called and said they couldn't fit the bar cart and one chair. I explained our agreement was that they move all contents. It was agreed that they would ship the chair. I was told it would cost them $500.00 to ship the antique chair. I opted to pay half of it to work with them. They ordered a new bar cart off Amazon and sent that to me as it was more cost effective than shipping the one that was left. I met the moving truck in Virginia and was very disappointed to see that my linens had been used as packing/moving blankets. Mike and Zac hired a driver, and I was met with employees from a local moving company in Virginia there to unpack the truck. While the movers moved our contents, I was shocked to see that the linens that I asked that they carefully pack, were used as moving blankets, wrapped around furniture and many had black grease, dirt, etc. on them after being drug in and out of the truck. I immediately called Zac about the linens. He apologized and said he was firing Mike over this and took $500.00 off the bill. I was quoted $3500.00 for the move. I paid $1000.00 before they started. I paid $1000.00 when I met the truck in Virginia. I was sent pictures assuring me the chair was being shipped from the UPS store in Deland FL, where Zac Kreuter's friend was the owner/manager. I then paid $1000.00 before receiving the chair being shipped by UPS. I reached out to Zac after a few days when they chair had not arrived. He assured me it was sent and would look into it and get back to me. After no response from Zac after multiple attempts to reach him, I logged into the UPS site to enter the tracking number and see where the chair/package was. It was invalid. I then went to a local UPS store in Virginia. The employee looked at the label sent to me and said it was likely entered, printed then deleted. I have used Thumbtack multiple times before and it went well each time. Unfortunately, this time I ended up with a dishonest company.
