FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is variable because I don't treat my customers in a cookie cutter fashion; not all clients or events are alike. It is structured to accommodate the service (stage show? close-up, strolling magic? a combination of both? MC?) and the venue (indoors? outside? private hospitality room? trade show floor?) as well as length of time (from 30 minutes to 4 hours or more).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First: find out as much about the event as possible. Assess the client's needs and desires to make sure they get the EXACT entertainment they need that is WITHIN their budget. Secondly: deliver MORE than the client expects. And last: make the person who hired me look GOOD.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Western Illinois University and majored in Theater (studying under Eugene Kozlowski), creative writing and math. I wrote over a dozen Top Ten Lists for "The Late Show with David Letterman" (from 1997 to 2009). I've performed CLEAN stand-up in comedy clubs in Arizona, Minnesota and Florida. I have studied with some of the best and most respected magic instructors in history. I received my Doctorate of Magic from the 4F in 2011.
