FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based per-person and depends on format of class, personal commute time. Please contact me to discuss your requests for a custom quote to fit your budget!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually prefer to have a consult prior to booking in order to get a feel for the customer, their specific needs/requests, and their experience with yoga (if any). We will review any recent injuries, surgeries, or health concerns to help narrow down the best type of yoga to suit your needs. We will talk about your fitness goals and whether you are seeking a recurring class or a one time experience. For anyone looking for recurring classes, you can expect your first class to be a gentle, exploratory class which gives me an opportunity to learn how your body works and to cater movement to suit your strengths. A follow up discussion will occur after class where you will be able to provide feedback and I can provide my recommendation for future classes. Sometimes it takes a few classes to narrow down what the best approach will be to help you meet your fitness goals. I am currently accepting consults for small and large group events in the workplace, friends/family events, etc. A similar consultation process will occur in order to ensure Mystic Root Yoga can accommodate your vision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an RYT-200 certification and have over 2,000 hours of teaching experience. I have taught in gyms/health clubs, recreation centers, studios, senior living facilities, outdoors, and online. I have several continuing education credits in hands-on adjustments, Yoga Nidra, and meditation. I am currently working in a health club setting where I have access to many health and wellness professionals and I have an opportunity to provide private training experiences to members.
