I would not hire him again. I paid $334 for one wood frame project when I was given a $250 estimate for two. He said he should be getting paid for walking around Home Depot looking for fabric and for not smoking cigarettes. Overall, the work was good but the professionalism was lacking.

I hired Herbert to hang a door, everything was fine, so I re-hired him to do a backsplash. Bad decision. He went into my supplies in my garage cabinet without permission; he made adjustments to my wall without consulting with me. He put the tile opposite of what I told him and didn't want to correct it after only 2-3 pieces was up. He relocated my light switch for an additional fee but put it too high and the cover won't fit. He was at my house 12hrs until almost 11pm on day 2 for this simple job. He just wants to do whatever he wants; never mind I have to hire someone else now to correct several things. He needs to learn to communicate with the customer so there is a meeting of the minds and to be more professional and considerate.

I didn’t appreciate the change in price when he arrived. When I hired him it stated a per hour. Then the handyman got here with an additional person and I was told it was the price per hour per person as well as a minimum fee. Also, I need an additional screw changed and I was charged to change the screw I provided.
