Introduction

As a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and a Krav Maga instructor, teaching self defense and a healthy lifestyle is my passion. I will create customized self defense and fitness plans to help you achieve your goals. Instruction covers basic self defense concepts such as -Combatives(punches, kicks, knees, takedowns, elbows ect.) -Ground grappling(chokes, arm bars, various submissions) -Boxing combos (striking, slips, catches, rolls) A vital portion of training is cardio health, so be prepared for a good workout! Lessons taught at a Fort Myers gym or at your home! I am also available for seminars. I have done small sessions with families or friends as well as a church camp for 50 girls. Leah was very thorough, I hired her for an RV park self defense class and she came on time and explained everything in detail. She then showed us some techniques if someone was to attack you from the back and front and many other valuable techniques. I would highly recommend her!

Leah is an awesome instructor. Everyone is different on what they want when being trained. I think Leah listens and works on what you want to do but also offers her expertise. She is coaching me in BJJ and she is coaching my two teenage daughters in Krav. She is excellent in explaining what’s she’s teaching and guiding in helping us execute our moves. I feel I’ve grown tremendously in BJJ since I’ve been doing privates with her. She’s patient and very encouraging. If you want to up your game in BJJ or in self defense, give her a call! In order to stay safe, I wanted to become more confident in my ability to defend myself. I looked at different martial art types and classes but struggled to find one that was accessible as a beginner. I contacted Leah and had a trial session with her. I instantly liked her approach and way of teaching. Leah has taught me a number of techniques and individualizes her training to meet my needs on a weekly basis. I am now far more confident in my ability to defend myself and would highly recommend Leah to anyone who wants to learn similar.

We will continue with my daughters private lessons. Leah is informative and knowledgeable. Great experience! Plus she got there before us which in today’s society is a rarity. Extremely punctual! Respects people’s time which is one of my pet peeves lol. There’s a list you have no idea lol. Back to Leah, she is great, welcoming, and capable. Will be returning with bells on lol.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Finding out their fitness goals and nutrition goals. Coming up with a schedule and plan to attain said goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
8 years of Krav Maga and Boxing fitness, 7 years of Jiu Jitsu training. Previous middle school teacher, music teacher for 12 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a Krav Maga class with my brother and was instantly hooked. I didn’t want to try Jiu Jitsu, but my mom was interested and dragged me to a class. After my first jiu jitsu class I could only ask myself, “Why haven’t I been doing this my whole life?!” And now I want to teach as many people as I can all that I have learned.
