What a great find! There’s a reason Barbur has 5 star ratings. Nick Barbur is a skilled, careful, meticulous professional. I did a major remodel of my kitchen which also involved moving the washer and dryer out of the kitchen and into an adjacent closet. After the plumbers and electricians were done cutting up the walls and ceiling I hired Nick to drywall and fix flooring and to reconfigure the closet into a laundry room. He did just that and more. Nick opened the doorway to the closet all the way and hung a barn door over it. All his idea and it looks amazing. He was so good that I ultimately hired him to install the kitchen cabinets. I’m so glad I did as Nick took the time to do the job right. My floors were so unlevel that Nick had to build giant shims to level and then customize the toe kick to cover up the shims. Then when the upper cabinets didn’t reach the ceiling Nick custom built a molding to carry the cabinets to the ceiling. He cut the limited amount of crown molding perfectly without waste. Nick and his sidekick Jason carefully hung the cabinets and Jason reinstalled my kitchen floor adding new material where needed. Using a special tool to measure where to place the cabinet pulls, Jason carefully installed the pulls. Another wonderful tool was the sander that simultaneously vacuumed the dust so that there was no sign that the walls had been recently drywalled. I could go on. I recieved many quotes from others and Nick impressed me with his knowledge and confidence. His price was reasonable and in the ball park of others. They were also both very kind helping me move old appliances out so they didn’t scrape the floor and setting up a microwave for me in the dining room while I waited weeks for my appliances. They took away a lot of my junk to free up a storage locker. I felt taken care of. Although there were unforeseen challenges that caused more work in the project (such as unlevel floors and walls). Nick was fair and upfront with his pricing. He didn’t use anything as an opportunity to gouge me. On top of it Nick and Jason were a lot of fun to work with! I will definitely hire them again!

All I can say is wow! What a pleasure to work with. Nick is talented, creative, knowledgeable, kind and so incredibly patient. He arrives on time and doesn’t leave until the job is completed. He leveled our island and put a butcher block countertop, added lights under our cabinets, put up backsplash and took out our reverse osmosis system. I have referred him to a couple of my friends and will definitely be using him again!

Details: Wood • No, I will need the carpenter to provide the molding or trim • This is just an installation job - no design needed • 0 - 40 ft • I would like it stained

Jason did a great job at installing new closet door tracks in my kitchen and sons bedroom. I am now able to open and close the doors easily. Very professional, responsive and respectful!
