Dog training is both my passion and my profession! I help dog owners learn to live harmoniously with their pets. I'm a dog trainer, but more importantly, a people coach! I specialize in service dog training and behavior modification, as well as helping owners learn how to more efficiently train, understand, and communicate with their dogs.

Literally do not have enough great things to say about our experience. Not only was Charice incredibly kind and willing to work with our situation, but our pup had some setbacks during training, but Charice never gave up. We are incredibly grateful for everything she's done for our dog and our family. We've already passed along her name to anybody looking for dog training. She's fantastic, just book her, you won't be disappointed.

Charyce with Conquer K9 has made such a difference for our family! She has helped me to better understand and communicate with my dog, and know how to better encourage and correct him; overall leading to a more enriched life with our sweet guy! Absolutely would recommend for those who are serious about training their dog. For me personally, Conquer K9 took the time to understand my personal situation with my high energy dog, developed and implemented a one on one customized training plan that exceeded my expectation and quickly achieved our identified goals. I thought for sure my dog was going to be extremely difficult to train on specific task. Using Conquer K9’s easy to follow instructions, made it possible to not only train my dog but to make it a pleasant experience as well. Charyce helped me transform my out of control dog into a polite family member. In just a few short weeks she took my buddy from a lunging, jumping, barking ball of fur, to a respectful, fun dog who we can take everywhere. Her skills are top notch, and not only is she great at what she does, but she has helped my family learn how to give our buddy the best life possible!

We were planning on sending two of our dogs to conquer k9 for board and train. One is a husky with some aggression issues. She stated this is something she can handle. 2 weeks before we were supposed to take our dogs to her, i tried texting her with no reply for a day and a half. I texted again. She finally replies and says one of our dogs spots is no longer available after we already sent a deposit over weeks before. We were really upset after finding this out and decided we no longer wanted to take the other dog if she can't see them both like we discussed, so we requested our deposit back. I was told deposits are "none refundable" even though this was not discussed before we sent it over. She said she's willing to make an exception though. Obviously, you gave our spot away even after saying you'd be able to train both dogs and we paid to save their spots, so yes an "exception" is required. We got our deposit a week or so later. I wasn't going to make this review but after we paid and discussed and waited and then 2 weeks before we were supposed to go this happened and now we can't find any trainers because everyone is booked out for months and months. Very disappointed. Don't recommend. Unprofessional and not dependable.

Hello Carolyn, Thank you for your review. I'd like to address a few things you mentioned. When you messaged me, it was a Sunday and I generally reply to business concerns Monday through Saturday unless it is urgent. Sundays I spend time training and with my family. Your dog Silver caused great harm to another dog in your household, and at the time, I had a space where I could take the dog safely to train. Unfortunately that changed, and I let you know I no longer felt comfortable taking Silver in the training space I currently have, for the safety of both my dogs and my client dogs. I was clear that I could still take your first dog without any issue. You said you understood that taking an aggressive dog was a risk, and asked for a refund of your deposit, which I agreed to. Additionally, you placed a deposit to hold your spot and I only charged you for one dog, not two. I refunded your deposit even though it clearly states on my invoice that deposits are non refundable. I did make an exception, but I cannot control how quickly my payment processor sends funds to your bank. I issued the refund the same day you requested. Your spot wasn't given away. I have not filled the spots that I had reserved for Ryleigh and Silver. I'm sorry that you cannot find a trainer but you chose not to use my services for your first dog, Ryliegh. I lost out on a client, you, because I chose safety over money. Again, thank you for your review.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My 21+ day board and train program is priced by consultation, based on the needs and goals of the owner. Total cost of package includes: a training collar, chain collar, leash, mesh cot, and flat collar ($375 dollar value).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free consultation for new clients. After we have addressed the issues, I create a plan of action, and we schedule a date to begin the board and train program. Most dogs are good to go at 21 days, but in the event a dog needs additional work, they will continue the program until they reach the desired level of progress, at no additional cost to the owner. After completion of the program, I have a 2-3 hour in-home private lesson with the family to help them learn how to use all tools and sustain the training their dog has received. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained under and been mentored by Martin Deeley, who is co-founder of the IACP, James Hamm, president of the IACP, and Dana Babb of PawsAbilities in Fife, Washington. I have completed Martin Deeley's E-Touch certification program.
