I hired Union Innovation and Remodeling for a home renovation project that involved a redo of cabinet/drywall/vanity plumbing in a bathroom. and it has been a remarkable experience.
From the onset, Jose displayed a high level of expertise and proficiency. He evaluated our space, understood our requirements, and provided valuable insights and very reasonable cost estimate. As I found during the course of work, he is truly a nice, honest and hard working professional.
Jose and his team took great care measuring when installing drywall to avoid any accidental damage to the plumbing pipe behind it. When it came to the cabinet installation, Jose exhibited an admirable level of craftsmanship. The cabinets were perfectly aligned, securely fastened, and the finish was just stunning. Their dedication to quality was evident in the meticulous attention they paid to the smallest details, ensuring a polished final product that blended beautifully with the rest of our space. Jose took extra time to install/test the new vanity sink/faucet/drain to ensure everything is done with high quality.
Beyond their technical skills, Jose and team showed a high level of professionalism throughout the project. They kept their workspace tidy and clean, minimizing disruption to our home life. always be responsive and punctual.

After my experience with this company, I can confidently say that it was a complete disaster. I had thought that they were the cheapest option compared to other contractors, but now I realize that cheaper is not always better. Because I ended up spending more money to correct their mistakes, The biggest issue I faced was the language barrier, as the owner and workers only spoke Spanish and I couldn't communicate with them effectively. I even suspected that they talked about me in a disrespectful manner, but I brushed it off and focused on the fact that I paid them good money and expected a great job. the work they did was sloppy and lasted much longer than they had promised, the contract was for 5 days. The job lasted two weeks. To top it off, they turned off the water to my house off the entire time , causing a major inconvenience and damages my grass dried up, and after they turned the water on there were leaks everywhere, I spoke to the owner Mauricio who told me I had to pay him a extra for $200 for them to REPLACE the leaking valve under the cabinets they recently installed, that leak weren't there before they touched the plumbing. Mauricio had promised the plumber would replace the entire valve for the extra $200 that did not happen he probably just changed the washer because it's the same old valve there, now let's talk about The kitchen cabinets, and countertop they were not installed properly, the doors squeaked and rubbed. The cabinets on either side of the range were uneven, and it was clear that they were cut incorrectly as they had to use sticks to elevate one side. Despite these imperfections, the company only seemed to care about getting paid. I tried to reach out to the wife of the owner, who spoke English, to address the issues, but she never replied. Once they got paid they were suddenly too busy to address my complaints. They even messed up the disposal, which I had to figure out and fix on my own. Overall, I would not recommend this company to anyone and would advise others to spend a little extra and go with a more reputable and professional company. I strongly believe that if you are hired to install a kitchen, it is your responsibility to reinstall any appliances that were moved, which was not the case with this company. I ended up having to pay an extra $60 to have them install the microwave and another $180 for them to dispose of the demo garbage. All this I believe should have been included in their initial scope of work. It's safe to say that my experience with this company was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
