What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in transparent pricing and offering packages that provide excellent value. My photography services are structured to accommodate different needs and budgets. All packages can be customized to meet your specific needs. A 50% retainer and signed contract are required to secure your date. Additional services such as extra coverage hours, second photographers, or premium photo albums are available as add-ons to any package.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with a match! Once I match with the client here on thumbtack, they will get a questionnaire and a quote to sign. The quote mirrors the prices offered on Thumbtack, and confirms the prices. The questionnaire is specific to the client and their photography session type. This is where I get the first look at what the client is expecting. After this, there is a consultation, either on the phone or in person. At this consultation, I will answer any additional questions, collect inspiration photos, and help determine any of the final details. Then, I get to work behind the scenes preparing for your dream photography session! After the session we will get to processing your photos as quickly as possible. Typically within 2 weeks you will have delivery of your gallery. If you ordered any special prints for your walls, we can assist in placement and hanging if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Personally, I went to college for photography and graduated with honors and the Directors Award. I loved my schooling as it set principles into practice while allowing me to explore my photographic style. I didn't stop my education here, I immediately joined professional associations (Tampa Area Professional Photographers Association, Florida Professional Photographers Association, and The Professional Photographers Association). Here I am constantly challenged and continue my education through courses, certification programs and conferences.
