FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My design fees are waived if a client orders their products from me. For example, if a client needs new bedroom furniture, and they purchase through me then I waive all the time spent on that part of the project. If a client just wants direction and suggestions then I charge an hourly fee. If a client is doing renovations and uses my teams and connections then the client will not be charged any design time related to the renovation. I also oversee projects and stay on property while crews are working to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently and with minimal mess or disruption to my clients. I have negotiated rates below cost with vendors so that my design time can be covered without having to charge the client more money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a conversation over the phone to understand what the client is requesting. Then I set up a time to actually see their residence and go from there. I pride myself in being able to help make peoples lives easier and working with their budget, timelines, and expectations.
