- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please let us know what type of property you want appraised and if there are any additional needs and we will quickly provide you with a price for a typical turn around time, if asked we can also provide a price for "Rush" appraisals if requested. For Commercial reports, please provide us with the address and as much information about the building as you currently have access to and define the purpose of the report. We will then provide you with a letter of engagement outlining the product type, price and lead time for you to review. Upon approval, please sign and return and our process will begin. Payment is due prior to the appraisal being delivered.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please send us the address of the property and context for the type of report that you are looking for, we will then do a quick review and provide a price for that product type. For residential appraisals, we can have a price and lead time very quickly; for commercial appraisals, we submit an engagement letter to you outlining price and lead time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is as follows: BS, Indiana University, Finance (Real Estate); Appraisal Institute (all classes needed to become certified, plus continuing education). I have been an appraiser since July 2000 and have produced reports on every property type, with a concentration in Industrial, Office, High-End Residential, Apartments and New Construction. Joe Gault has been with our firm since 2007. He has a BS from Butler University and is a Certified Residential Appraiser. Katie Mairet has been with us since 2020 and is a graduate of Purdue University.
