WOW! Julio is AMAZING!!! I had a terrible kitchen tile backsplash and I attempted to remove it from one wall and was pretty much left with a giant gaping hole. I also had the 5" granite backsplash going around my countertops that I didn't want anymore. Julio was quick to respond and he has great reviews - why? Because his work is meticulous and absolutely beautiful!!! Not only did he repair the gigantic holes I made in the walls, he removed all my old tile, removed the granite pieces that I hated, put up new backerboard (suitable for kitchens) and sealed with waterproofer. Then he got to work on the new tile I chose. And it turned out amazing. He also cleaned up while working - so there was zero mess. I am saving up to redo the bathrooms and I will definitely be hiring Julio again!!!!

Julio was absolutely professional and his customer service skills were better than any organization I've dealt with for the last three years. My job was smaller than any of his usual jobs, but I was very pleased to work with such a skilled and professional craftsman. He worked within my wife's preferences to transition our old tile to a new kitchen floor. Clearly, he has a great rating on Thumbtack for a reason. If you are fortunate enough to have this gentleman bid on your job, make him an offer before someone else does. There isn't much more to say. He was excellent.

Julio did a fantastic job. He worked neat and clean, he was respectively to us having a busy house with 3 little kids occasionally watching him work, he kept me informed on when he'd be arriving and gave me a very specific detailed shopping list of what we would need. The price for his work was very reasonable. Our project involved demo'ing and replacing bathroom floor tile, and the 3 walls and floor of a stand-up shower. Our accent mosaic tile that was for the shower was different then we discussed (odd-shaped glass tiles) at our first meeting, but he made it work without complaint. Even the finishing touch of fitting in a wooden threshold took a lot more effort that I would have had patience for (perfectly notching-out the wood to fit snug in our odd door jam area). After having worked with a previous tile person for 6 projects, I was hesitant to go with someone different (my other person was simply unavailable)... but, no complaints. I'd definitely hire Julio again for another project.
