Introduction

Sunsational Swim School brings the swim school to your pool! Certified, insured and fully vetted swim instructors come right to your home or community pool and we teach all ages (infants-adults) and skills levels. For beginners 3 and up we even offer a Learn to Swim Guarantee! If your child is not able to perform the "Sunsational Safety Sequence" after 12 private swimming lessons, we will provide up to 4 more lessons for free! Our private swim lessons allow the instructor to individualize the swimming lessons for each student's particular needs. Sunsational Instructors provide private swim classes for all experience levels, all ages, and all abilities: including beginner adult swim lessons, kids swimming lessons, baby swimming lessons & special needs swimming lessons. Customized scheduling is offered and you can choose the swim lesson days and times that will work best for you. At Sunsational, we pride ourselves in providing private swim lessons and instruction where students quickly learn how to be safer in and around the water yet still have fun and enjoy the experience!

Savannah is the BEST! Two of my kids, ages 2 and 4, are enrolled in swim lessons with Sunsational. Savannah is their amazing instructor, and we could not be happier! She developed a great relationship with the kids in a very short amount of time, gaining their trust and diminishing their fears of the water. In 4 weeks, my son (4) is almost able to swim on his own and my daughter (2), who has historically been terrified of the water, is swimming with decreasing assistance and is developing a love for the water! Not only are they learning how to swim, but (most importantly, in my opinion) they are learning important safety skills to keep them protected when they are around water. They are around so many pools, oceans, lakes, etc in the summer that these skills will prove to be invaluable. Savannah is always on time for lessons and flexible with scheduling. She doesn't "take the easy way out" when it comes to the programming of each specific lesson, but seamlessly personalizes each lesson for both children based on their individual strengths, weaknesses and styles of learning.

Niloufar has been the swim instructor for my 4-year-old daughter this summer. I purchased 12 30-minute lessons with one free lesson from a Father's Day promo code. The lessons were pricey, around $600, but my husband and I agreed you can't put a price on your child's safety if you have a pool in your yard and because lessons would be at our home. I liked the idea of my daughter getting to know the books and crannies of our pool, and because I have a baby you can't beat the convenience. I was super worried if lessons would be worth it, if my daughter would really meet the learn-to-swim-guarantee after 13 lessons, and who I was letting in my home and pool with my daughter. The corporate office answered all my inane questions and always called me back. Niloufar, who they paired us up with, couldn't possibly be any more patient or sweet. Even as my daughter was crying and scared or screaming Niloufar just was completely calm and never raised her voice. Honestly I was embarrassed at times of my daughter's behavior but Niloufar completely emphasized with my daughter and never blamed me for my daughter's antics. After 6 lessons my daughter started being able to swim a couple feet on her own. I was very impressed and happy! Since then my daughter has still been adding on to her skills- holding her head out of the water as she paddles about, blowing bubbles with her head completely submerged, and can float seemingly endlessly on her back. I am very thankful Niloufar has stuck with my daughter through her trepidation and thus crazy Mama's anxiety!

I highly recommend Sunsational Swim School. Diana turned our timid four-year-old son into an absolute fish. I was expecting our sixth child, and I wanted to make sure our 4 year old was safe by our pool while I would need to tend to the new baby. Our 4-year old was getting more interested in being IN the water than BY the water, but he didn't have any of the skills (floating, blowing bubbles, moving along the wall much less swimming). In 12 lessons, Diana had him swimming without a floatie across the pool! We still prefer him to wear his floatie, especially when we're not in with him, but he's fully capable to swim on his own. And, his father and I can enjoy being poolside without fear. And, Sunsational came to the house, which made the lessons feasible for me! Diana taught our 20-month old daughter too. Unfortunately, our daughter liked to drink the water more than swim in it. She still learned to monkey crawl along the wall and to pull herself out of the pool, which are both important safety skills. I just think she needs a little more time before she's ready to swim.Thank you, Diana and Sunsational!

I am in disbelief that anyone has given sunsational swim school positive reviews. They follow no specific swim lesson curriculum, there is no routine followed or structure for the lessons, the coaches have no training on how to make the lessons "kid friendly" for a toddler who is learning to swim and there is no oversight or accountability for the coaches. My child did 10 lessons and learned less than I taught her on my own in 5 minutes. They also act like they will easily give you a refund but when I asked for a refund they had no way of knowing how many lessons were completed and I had to argue with them and show them text message s to prove when lessons did and did not take place. Even after I showed the text messages, they still refused to refund me for the correct number of lessons, although they did waive the registration fee - as they should for a customer who is so dissatisfied! They did not waive the cancellation fee. Perhaps this company is better suited for older kids or adults but not young kids!

Lenka is amazing! She is a wonderful instructor for adults and I can only imagine children as well. I knew learning to swim was going to be hard now that I'm in my 30's and I have a fear of water due to a childhood incident. But with Lenka's help, I have already learn to float and swim a few strokes and were only on lesson 8. After my 12 lessons, I intend to purchase more lessons so I can keep improving.
