Enjoy your lessons with a friendly, professional, and highly qualified teacher! Hello, my name is Olena Zatynina. I am from Kharkiv Ukraine, and I currently reside in Orlando Florida. I am currently employed with Opera Orlando as a Rehearsal Accompanist for Child and Adult Masterclasses as well as a Rehearsal and Collaborative Pianist for the Opera Orlando Production Company. I hold Bachelors and Masters degrees in Piano Performance and Education with the B.N Lyatoshinski Music College in Ukraine, studying classical and modern repertoire. For over 29 years I have taught students of all ages and levels of advancement in various fine arts academies, as well as my own private studio. In addition to private instruction, I have served as the primary accompanist for voice, winds, strings, and ballet academic classical exercise in my native country, also serving as the first call accompanist for multiple performance recitals and competitions. My performance experience also includes, Solo Pianist and Musical Director for many five star hotels worldwide, including cruise ships and fine dining establishments. My teaching style is based on the art of coordinated movement that maximize arm and hand position, improving tone production, and other components of expressive playing, including basic music theory, reading musical notation, rhythms and scales, as well as technique and performance. I am continually excited about playing and teaching piano. My goal is to share this excitement and to use my knowledge to help instill a love of music in my students.
