However, we advised that it will be temporary solution and the best option would be to replace the pilot. Our technician returned a second time to assist you without any additional charge, and we did not replace the pilot as you chose not to proceed with that option at the time. It is standard practice for homeowners to check and open the vent before using the fireplace, and our technician did inform you that the vent was closed for safety reasons. We understand how frustrating this situation has been, and we are committed to ensuring our customers' safety and satisfaction.
