We had John entertain a group of 120 technology folks at a Catholic conference. Knowing the demographics and topics that may cause unease, John did a fantastic job of being extremely funny while cautiously testing the boundaries to see what type of comedy would be embraced vs head tilting. He was extremely flexible with our shifting schedule and arrived early to ensure a timely start. To that point, his experience helped dictate the right time to start the show ... not when dinner was being served but at just the right time during mid dessert. Many left with laughter pains with the always present outliers that take offense to everything. All-in-all, he was a great selection for our evening entertainment.

John was on time and a great guy but wasn't as great as we thought he was gonna be for the cost. $600 is a lot of money and have several people get up and walk out. We were expecting a great night with a lot of people laughing. Will not hore again.

I always appreciate feedback from clients here on Thumbtack as well as talking to people after the show. The audience members that I spoke to really enjoyed the show. The people that left did so because it was 100 degrees in the room! Having your air conditioner break down was a bit of bad luck-however, the show went on. I'm sorry your expectations were not met... Planning an event is hard work! When we have our first conversation, I try to get as much of the timeline information as I can to assist you in making this a great night of entertainment.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I perform over 100 private events every year. From intimate gatherings in the home to large conventions. Fundraisers, birthday parties, corporate functions, country club shows, 55 plus communities. I even presided over a wedding. And yes... they are still married!
