I am Life Master Theo Slade. I learned how to play chess when I was 6 and I have been playing for 14 years. I was England's top scorer at the World U16 Olympiad in China as an U12 and I have been writing a monthly column for the British Chess Magazine since I was 12; I am the youngest ever writer for the world's oldest chess journal!

He adjusts the lessons to his skill level seamlessly, and he provides not just guidance in chess, but in life lessons (not giving up, focusing on learning from your mistakes). What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50 USD/£40 GBP per hour. This includes my preparation for each lesson, extra time which I give every lesson, and an email after each lesson with the materials discussed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you have any recent games, then you should send me them so I can determine your strengths and weaknesses and we will go through these games together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Life Master and I rank in the top 0.8% of all US chess players. My peak FIDE rating is 2175 and my peak USCF rating is 2266. I have defeated GM Julio Becerra Rivero (2604).
