Derek Stroker provided the musical entertainment for my husband’s 50th birthday party and made it an unforgettable evening! His idea of writing a custom song was brilliant. He worked with me through the entire process making sure that it was exactly what I was looking for. My husband said that he doesn’t know how I will ever top that gift! He was completely surprised and felt so honored. Derek is clearly working in his passion because this was no ordinary booking. It was a unique personalized experience with his blood, sweat, and tears apparent through the entire process. Yes, he is incredibly talented and the crowd loved his music. But the thing that set him apart from other agencies where you book a musician was his drive, passion, and professionalism. He was so detailed that I never worried about how everything would turn out. He thought of questions to ask to make the evening perfect! Derek hosted BDG Architects New Year Kick-Off, a cocktail style party. He did an amazing job of curating a relevant set-list while keeping the music at a reasonable volume that fit the circumstances. He is a talented musician and look forward to booking him for any upcoming events. He showed up early, was quick with set-up and breakdown, and performed for 4 hours! Review: Derek Stroker, Private Party October 2023 I normally don’t write reviews, but after the private party I gave recently, I was totally impressed with the musical entertainment for the evening, Derek Stroker. Derek filled the room, and my memories with great songs from the 60’s forward! He is a polished and professional musician, and one that can blend his unique talents into those unforgettable tunes he plays. Sometimes I enjoy a solo performance, but they can become unidirectional at times. Not with Mr. Stroker’s show, he has an incredible ability to create sounds, using his tools, drums, bass, rhythm, beatbox etc. and layer all his live only sounds into an incredible version of one of your favorite songs! Another thing I appreciated was his ability to entertain and adapt the music to those at the party, young or old. You truly see that he both loves the music, and even more importantly, loves playing his version for you. I would highly recommend using Derek Stroker for any entertainment event, both personal or corporate. I know you and your guests will enjoy his performance! John Williams

There are no discounts offered at this time. The cost of live music for a corporate or private event can vary depending on the size of the event, the number of musicians or performers, and the type of music you would like to have. I will work with you to determine a budget that fits your needs and expectations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, customers initiate contact by sending Derek an email to kickstart the conversation. Following this, we'll arrange a brief call to discuss the specific details. Afterward, Derek will provide you with a contract, and to secure the date, a 50% deposit will be required. Feel free to reach out with any questions or for follow-up calls once the date is confirmed. The remaining balance will be due on the day of the performance.
