FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Ceremony Cost: COVID-19 SPECIAL $125 (save $50) $175 is the standard price for wedding ceremonies. Wedding services include phone consultation, wedding scripts, performing ceremony, and delivery of wedding licenses to your county clerks office. The cost of our service is not based on the number of guests attending your wedding. There are no hidden fees associated with our service. We are centrally located in the tri-county area of South Florida. Our main service area is as far south as Key Largo Florida and as far north as West Palm Beach. I have been known to go outside of this area with a small travel fee attached. Gratuity: Is not arbitrarily charged to your bill. If you feel our service deserves a gratuity that is your option. Deposit: To book my services I require a deposit of 50% to hold your date. The final payment is due the day of the service. I provide additional services upon request and a quote for those services will be discussed prior to the service and approved by the client before adding to the ceremony. Late Fee/Wedding Delayed: Because this is a business and time is money a late fee of $50 is charged for wedding ceremonies that are late or delayed past 1 hour. Cancellation: Cancellation charges are charged. The charge varies based on the time frame of the cancellation. All leads and contacts through Thumbtack are paid for exclusively by the wedding officiant for the pleasure of winning your business. If you commit to a date and time slot the officiant is unavailable to other clients that may desire the services of the officiant and the officiant may not be able to recover the business lost based on the cancellation date. Forms of Payment: I currently accept several forms of payment and I have also worked with some very special circumstances. Deposit is required to hold the date and final payment is due the day of the ceremony. Discounts: I offer a 20% Military discount for Military Vets and Active Military. Other discounts may be available call and inquire.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with my clients over the phone, social media, or in-person to discuss their expectations. Once we agree on the service, a deposit of 50% is made to book the date, scripts are then forwarded for approval, the ceremony is performed, and we deliver the final wedding certificate to the clerk of courts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the wedding industry for over 15 years. In 2002 I earned certification as a wedding planner and coordinator. I operated a wedding planning business for six years before moving out of the State of Florida. I decided in 2014 that I wanted to return to the wedding business in a different capacity. I obtained my notarial certification and I have been marrying couples ever since.
