I had an issue with my original installer who did a very poor job of installing cameras and reached out to Rob and showed him what they did. Rob promised to take care of this and make it right. I purchased a new system through him and with labor came out to over 2000 dollars. Installation was very clean. However, a few weeks after the install one of the cameras went out. Rob sent the same techs out who installed it and they determined the camera itself was bad and said they would order a new one under warranty. About a month went by where I had no word from Rob on what was going on so I tried calling and could not get through, so I messaged him on thumbtack where he told me COVID19 slowed things down. A few days later I got a call that the camera came in and they were read to replace it. A different tech came out who was completely clueless on what system I had. I had to show him where the bad camera was and then it was determined that the camera that was ordered was the wrong one. The tech tried calling Rob at my house and couldn’t get through. He then called the manufacture directly for a replacement they asked for my address and said they would send one out immediately. The tech who was out told me I would most likely be charged for this visit. I told him that makes no sense since this camera went bad a few days after the install and the tech explained Rob only warranties his work for 30 days. The tech agreed with me but said it was Rob’s policy. He said he wouldn’t ask for money now but would most likely charge me when he had to come back to install the camera. The camera arrived in 3 days, which made me get suspicious if Rob really was backed up on ordering the original replacement or if he just flat out forgot. I contacted Rob through Thumbtack since that is the only way I can get a hold of him since he never answers his phone. He said he would send someone out in a couple of days. I told him that would work. The same tech who was out last came out and had no idea how to get the camera working after mounting it to the house and was getting very frustrated. I had to take over at this point and add the camera via IP address since the tech was struggling. He told me there was no charge and had me sign a piece of paper. One month after replacement the same exact camera went out which makes me believe bad wiring was done or the box that houses the camera is not sealed properly and water is getting in and shorting it out. I contacted Rob immediately on September 17th and he said that’s crazy I will get it looked at but that was it no other response. I waited a month and contacted Rob again and the same exact response. It’s pretty clear Rob does not stand by his work and forgets about you after everything is done. I spent over 2k on this system it should not keep breaking and I should not be repeatedly ignored. Would not recommend lousy communication and does not stand by his work.

Hi Andrew, this is quite the "review" of my charactor, employees and your "experience". More like a slander online than a review. However, Im happy to respond. Your system was installed June 8th 2020, literally in the middle of Corona virus shut down throughout the WORLD, yes one camera went "bad" and we replaced it completely free of charge on June 18th because it was under the manufacturers warranty and mine. We were able to obtain this camera as there were a few items not sold out yet or on back order at that time, however, just like fridges, laptops, printers, air conditioning units, tvs and a tonn of other products manufactured in China that all ran out of USA stock, your camera did too! Since then factories have been playing catch up for millions of products, I inform you of what's going on with what my sales reps tell me, its a constant waiting game on a lot of products. I urge you to call Christian Scott at Dow Electronics and ask him about product inventory availability from Spyclops. You'll see i have not ever kept from telling you the truth! I DO stand by my work, employees and customers and for you to blame me on a huge emotional rant over your one camera when the rest of the world blames CHINA is undeniably unrealistic and irrational of you. If I didn't answer my phone or call people back then how is it you state my answer to you?? Completely contradicting yourself. I'd clearly not have jobs booked in. So that's not true either.
