FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am pricing my tutoring services at $45.00 per hour. I want to be able to help as many people as possible so I think this is a fair price. I will give you quality tutoring as I have many years of teaching both children and adults.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet a new customer I spend some time analyzing their method of learning. Once I know if they are a visual or auditory learner I then develop a program to start to teach/tutor. The one thing I do when I tutor is to change what I do often. In other words I do not spend the entire time on one book etc. I always have material available to keep my students engaged in different areas to help provide tutoring services and to keep the student interested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is over 20 years of teaching and also having the opportunity to work in several school systems. Each of these systems offer me more insight into the latest education theories. I have worked both in Chatham, Cape Cod, and in the public system in Naples, Florida. I also do alot of work for a private prep school in Naples, Florida. This is a school that works students 2 years beyond the public school educational level. It is most stimulating to both students as well as teachers. It is truly an honor to work at this prep school that is considered to be one of the most desired prep schools in the southeastern part of the United States. The biggest factor is that I am proud and love what I do with students. I look forward to meeting you. I am also Wilson Reading Certified from the Wilson Center in Oxford, Mass.
