FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am always negotiable. I honestly believe it is a necessary means to establish a good rapport with your clients. From beginning to the end, my client knows exactly what he/she is getting in the package because they are dealing with me and not a second party service. I will personally take care of ALL my clients needs in music preference and make sure they get EXACTLY what they ask for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I interview the potential client to find their needs, such as music, genre, and style. Second, I ask, what is the size of event? This would indicate the amount of equipment necessary for venue. Would the client need specific lighting for said function? These are among the topics necessary for the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly updating my library with the latest technology as well as my music. My library is extensive! I have nearly 80,000 songs in almost every genre. As far as "Education" as a DJ, I had the honor to be trained and mentored by one of the best DJ's in Hawaii. I believe he's one of the best in the business. In addition, I have a professional broadcasting voice so I am quite capable on the microphone. This especially comes in handy when speaking on behalf of wedding parties and such.
