I have been counseling couples for 30 years. There are people who have come to my sessions with a lot of issues and problems. I was able to open their eyes and get to the root of the problems they were oblivious to. I can help you to understand and make concessions. My philosophy is to never blame or point the finger. The number one thing in relationships is to never stop exploring your partner. I can attest to this not only as a professional but as a married man of 30 years. I would like the chance to talk with and see if this is something I can help you with. (We are not accepting insurance at this time, however we are able to provide a receipt for you to turn into your insurance for them to reimburse you) What I enjoy most is when people have the tools the that are necessary to help them when they are confronted with an issue and knowing how to deal with it.

My husband and I were fortunate to receive Pre-Marital Counseling from John Pierre. At the time we were engaged and knew that we wanted to come into our marriage armed with as much knowledge as possible to have a successful and life-long bible-based marriage. During the counseling sessions we learned so much about ourselves as individuals. We also realized very early on that we were entering into the most important decision of our lives and this decision would determine the direction and course of our lives from the moment we say I do. Mr. Pierre is a no holds bar, tell it like it is, honest man. He made us look at each other from how we were raised, our thoughts, actions and decisions leading up to that point and their possible effect on the impending marriage. As the counseling sessions progressed, we began to understand marriage for what it truly is while simultaneously assessing our realistic expectations based on our values and goals in life. The knowledge we gained through our counseling is priceless. Seven years later we still use the tools we learned in our pre-marital counseling. The one tool we repeat and even teach back to others from Mr. Pierre is "Explore." He is extremely caring and considerate. John Pierre defiantly understand the concept of privacy. I respect what he does and his ability to be partial to be fair, to be understanding. I have recommended others to him. When I actually thought my marriage would be over speaking and having the counseling sessions with him has saved my marriage and we are now at 22 years of marriage. We appreciate him and we thank him for sharing his wisdom.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want my customer to know that I have a flat fee for Marriage Counseling, Pre-Marriage Counseling and all other forms Counseling. The Flat fee is $125 for all Counseling Sessions per-hour. For Wedding Officiant $171. (We are not accepting insurance at this time, however we are able to provide a receipt for you to turn into your insurance for them to reimburse you)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process for working with a new customer first and for most is that I want them to feel comfortable. So the very first thing I would like to happen is to get a phone call so I can have an idea of what is going on so that I can be in a better position to help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Bible College in Colorado Spring, where I started my studies in Counseling. I got my AA. I then attended Mid-America University. I got my BA I then attended Nazarene Theological Seminary. I did extended studies on counseling.
