FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in transparency and simplicity, you can see it on our website too. Our pricing reflects the value we place on preserving your precious memories. No hidden fees, no surprises—just straightforward rates that honor both your investment and our craft. Every dollar you spend goes toward creating treasures that will outlast us all, connecting generations through visual storytelling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with truly listening to you. We start with a thoughtful conversation (via Zoom, phone, or in person) where I focus on understanding your "why" - not just what photos you want, but why these memories matter to you. In a world where few people truly listen, I make it my priority to hear every detail and emotion behind your request. After our conversation, we'll confirm your booking with a 50% deposit to secure your date. This commitment allows me to prepare specifically for your unique needs. On your special day, I'll be fully present and attentive, capturing authentic moments as they unfold while remaining unobtrusive. Post-session, I carefully select and enhance your images, a process that typically takes 5-7 days (or longer for larger packages). This thoughtful editing ensures each image authentically preserves the emotions of your special moments. Finally, you'll receive your completed memories either digitally via email or as physical products delivered to your address, depending on your chosen package. The remaining balance is due before final delivery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My journey in visual storytelling began with formal training at San Alejandro School of Visual Arts in Cuba, where I graduated in 2001. This foundation in traditional art gave me a unique perspective on composition and visual storytelling that continues to influence my work today. As Art Director for the Rotilla Festival, Cuba's largest independent music festival, I documented countless authentic moments and emotional expressions. This experience led me to create talentocubano, a project dedicated to preserving Cuban musical culture through visual documentation. My commitment to capturing truth and authentic moments ultimately forced me into exile. After relocating to Miami in 2014, I continued my education at Miami's Art Institute and participated in specialized workshops at the New York Film Academy to expand my technical skills in photography and videography. Throughout decades of documenting life's moments—from cultural movements to family milestones—I've developed a deep understanding of how to preserve memories that matter. While technical knowledge is important, my most valuable skill comes from recognizing and capturing the fleeting, emotional moments that tell your unique story.
