Hello, My name is Nicole. I concentrate not only on performance and music notation, but I also teach my students music theory and performance coaching, in the case they may ever want to learn another instrument, in addition to piano. I find it very rewarding to share knowledge with others, including my own students and have been teaching for over 15 years. I enjoy engaging my students into what I like to call "Musical Self Discovery - providing my students with the resources they need to reach their full musical potential, on an individual basis, through their music lessons. When my daughter was very young we started with a service which provided piano lessons. Unfortunately it was a revolving door of teachers with little/no communication from one teacher to the next and every time we got a new teacher it was like starting all over. Then we tried a second piano teacher but I now see that there was no curriculum and as a result my daughter’s knowledge was very spotty. My daughter started weekly lessons with Nicole several months ago and my daughter and I are both thrilled to have found Nicole Moremen. She is a brilliant piano teacher. She is extremely organized and comprehensive in her approach. Moreover, my daughter loves her. Nicole is so nice and warm. My daughter’s abilities and comfort level on the piano have improved tremendously. There was a piano recital in December and to see her older students play really reinforced my impression of her ability as a piano teacher. The recital was beautiful and the fee was nominal (equal to one lesson with the ability to invite extended family at no additional cost.) I could go on and on but suffice it to say she is the best piano teacher and we feel so lucky to have found her!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule a meet and greet in order to introduce myself, understand repertoire and teaching materials, as well as meet the student. Followed by scheduling their first FREE lesson. Finally, after reviewing how the initial meeting and their first lesson went, we can decide to move forward with scheduling lessons.
