Introduction

I am a Columbia University MFA Graduate in Visual Art, a working artist, and educator based in Miami. Experienced in teaching students of all abilities from 6th grade to professional artists; my students have gone on to win awards, scholarships, and grants from top institutions. If your goals are more modest, that’s great too; each lesson is tailor-made for you. My classes blend classical and contemporary methods of painting and drawing, taking advanced concepts and breaking them down into lessons that are fun and intuitive. Before beginning, we’ll have a brief conversation about what you’d like to get out of the class, and you will have the opportunity to show me some of your previous artwork. Lessons are AMAZING. I have a strong passion for the arts and expressing idea's that words alone can’t describe. If you want to learn with a responsible and professional person, I recommend this teacher. My daughter takes classes with her and it has been a very good choice. Every day she learns something new and the improvement in her drawings is surprising. She went from practically 0 to seeing very good work for the short time she has been there. Whether you're a beginner or a professional, this painting class will help you immensely. Being an experienced painter, taking this class I was taught essential skills and introduced to traditional techniques that I still apply to my art today. This class is absolutely worth it.

$100 an hour for a one-on-one class. Only $10 more per hour for each additional student, making group classes with your friends a great idea.
