We had an awesome experience with Benjamin Moving - clear communications and easy to schedule, great price, showed up on time and ready to work. They took care, wrapped tvs / mattresses and packed the truck with space left over. They unpacked the truck efficiently as well. The movers put everything where we wanted and were happy to do so. I would not use this company again for the following reasons: -Constant talking during the move, sometimes loudly in my apartment and in the hallways in very quiet buildings. The constant talking began about a half hour or so into the move and continued throughout. It made me question if they’d move quicker without the talking. -Being told that the movers don’t speak a lot of English, accepting that- then hearing one of the movers say the word pudita which sounded familiar, so I looked it up to find the vulgar meaning. I also saw how a building worker abruptly turned around when the word was said like huh…After telling one of the movers I heard one of them say the word and asking what it meant-he ultimately said he didn’t know. -Movers exhibiting frustration with me due to the language barrier when it came time to pay. They had to call another person to give me the total for the move which was fairly quick so I’m unsure why the frustration was shown so visibly. -Both movers sat on my furniture without even asking if it was okay. It was not okay. -Scratches on items - Movers left trash in a box I had my water in…I didnt see it until cleaning after they left. There was literally a trash bin where the moving truck was parked so this was just blatant disrespect at this point. -Asked about two small items that I’m not seeing once I went through all my things and was asked “was you there”, so customer service lacking clearly. While the movers showed up on time, I did not find them to be particularly organized. However this, nor the language barrier were of significance to me. It was all the things I listed above. Had the movers moved more quietly and been more respectful, this review would have went differently.

Am sorry about having a such a negative experience and leaving such a negative review .when my guys worked hard and are professional.therefore they constantly have to communicate with each other. And the lack of communication was with you miss lyn I personally called you about confirmation and missing items that you never answered or replied back.the language barrier does not affect the quality of work we do and one of my guy speak well English so I don’t understand why you come with that.and about the damage when I finally spoke with you in the phone you would have told right away not two days after. About the missing items I called you to talked about it via the app and phone number and nevered answer wich it was a poor lack of communication from you since you requested the move. About the trash those greens wraps does not belong to us so we don’t take trash that’s not urs. To be honest and really sorry about your experience when I know we are good workers. And when I asked was you there was because you was asking if my guys moved some items.this why I asked if you was there because you should know if they did or not .
