FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Firstly, I usually charge an hourly rate for my services, which may vary depending on the nature of the job and the level of expertise required. Additionally, I may charge additional fees for any materials or supplies required for the job, such as nails, screws, or paint. I also offer discounts for customers who require my services on a regular basis or for larger projects that require an extended period of time to complete. It's important to note that any discounts or promotions will be clearly communicated to customers upfront, so they can make informed decisions about their service choices. I strive to provide accurate and fair pricing estimates to my customers, so they know what to expect before committing to a project. I am also open to negotiating prices, especially for larger projects or ongoing work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer involves several key steps to ensure that the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction. These steps include: 1. Initial contact: The first step is for the customer to contact me, either through messenger and phone , to discuss the project or repair work needed. During this initial conversation, I gather information about the project's scope, timeline, and budget. 2. In-person consultation: If the project requires an in-person consultation, I will schedule a time to meet with the customer at their home or business to assess the job's requirements. During this consultation, I will listen to the customer's needs, ask questions, and make recommendations based on my experience and expertise. 3. Estimate and proposal: After the in-person consultation, I will provide the customer with a detailed estimate and proposal that outlines the scope of work, materials needed, timeline, and cost of the project. I will also be transparent about any potential additional fees or expenses that may arise during the project. 4. Scheduling: If the customer approves the estimate and proposal, I will schedule the job and agree on a start date that works for both parties. I will also provide the customer with an estimated timeline for completion and any potential disruptions to their daily routine. 5. Execution: Once the project begins, I will communicate regularly with the customer to provide updates on progress, answer any questions or concerns, and ensure that the work is being completed to their satisfaction. 6. Completion and follow-up: After the job is completed, I will conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure that everything is in working order and that the customer is satisfied with the work. I will also be available for any follow-up questions or concerns that may arise after the job is completed.
