Whether you are a beginner just starting out, an intermediate player preparing for a band concert or evaluation, an advanced student applying to colleges and universities, or simply a flute lover who wants to learn to play your favorite songs, I am here to help you achieve your goals. I have been teaching flute since 2012, working with students ranging from young beginners to adults in their seventies. My approach emphasizes developing a warm, resonant tone, solid technical control, sound quality, intonation, and music appreciation. Whether preparing for auditions and performances or playing for personal enjoyment, I guide my students in building a beautiful sound and refined technique, making sure you are advancing towards your goals. In addition to my private teaching, I hold a Doctorate in Flute Performance from the University of Miami, Frost School of Music, with a cognate in the live entertainment industry. I also teach Flute, Music Theory and Wind Ensemble at Musicall, Inc. in Kendall. As a performer, I have the privilege of playing with ensembles such as the Palm Beach Symphony, Florida Grand Opera, and The Symphonia Boca, along with various other local groups. I also have the opportunity to present solo recitals and lead masterclasses at universities and colleges across the United States. Additionally, I serve on committees for local and national competitions, including the prestigious YoungArts program.
