- What types of customers have you worked with?
Equipaws Pet Services's primary service is pet sitting, which typically takes 30 minutes a day, three times a day. This includes feeding your pets, playing with them, alternating blinds, bringing in mail, making your house looked lived in while you're away, and other reasonable requests. We pet sit for dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots... you name it! We love running dogs! We take dogs with an extra kick of energy on fast-paced bike rides or longer runs. These also start at 30 minute intervals. We also offer dog walks. All trots include a walk update and replenishing water bowl and treat, as instructed. They start at 15 minute intervals. Equipaws Pet Services also provides transportation to and from vet or grooming appointments, as well as airport drop-offs, medicine administration, and leash refresher courses.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring a pet sitter is just like hiring a nanny for your children. Whoever you hire will be in your home and caring for your pets and keeping them and your home safe. The best advice we can give you about hiring a pet sitter is to trust your instincts, and to ask many questions. For one, are they licensed, bonded, and insured? Are they trained in pet First Aid? Do you feel comfortable with their level of professionalism? How do they interact with your pet? It is very important to have a good feeling when the pet sitter leaves, as this is a highly personalized service. Good luck choosing!
