Federal grants generally offer the highest dollar amount of funding, with moderate competition. The most plentiful months of available grants are November through early June of the following year. Most, but not all grants require the organization to be a 501c3 nonprofit status. There are some exceptions.
Federal grants require the applicant to have completed organizational registration with the following sites before being allowed to submit for grant funding:

• SAM.gov
My fee to prepare a federal grant is based on the complexity of the grant requirements. The average request for proposal documents is 85-95+ pages. The fee range is $3,200-$5,800 (for more complex grants); the majority are priced at $3,600 to prepare a federal grant proposal.
State Grant Proposals: state grants are exceptional opportunities for clients, with a limited window for applications. Most state grants are posted available for submissions in the first quarter of the year, and the majority are closed by June. Most, but not all grants require the organization to have a 501c3 nonprofit status.
My fee to prepare a state grant is based on the complexity of the grant requirements. The fee range is $2,800-$3,400; the majority are priced at $3,000 to prepare a state grant proposal.
Foundation Grant Proposals: Foundation grants provide wonderful funding opportunities for young nonprofit organizations. Most, but not all grants require the organization to have a 501c3 nonprofit status. There are some exceptions, but very few. Foundation grants provide a lower dollar amount of funding, while also requiring less intensive grant proposals that a federal or state grant application.
My fee to prepare a foundation grant is based on the complexity of the grant requirements. The fee range is $800-$2,800; the majority are priced at $1,800 to prepare a foundation grant proposal.
