- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an enrolled agent with the IRS and I have a law degree; Enrolled Agents are tax specialists licensed by the IRS. This is the highest credential that the IRS awards to tax professionals. As an Enrolled agent, we not only pass a rigorous 3 part exam but must also attend ongoing continuous education classes to maintain that license. Enrolled Agents are focused on income-tax practice and frequently represent customers at audits and negotiate on the customer's behalf; EA's, as they are known, typically handle more involved situations. My law degree enables me to untangle more complicated tax matters.
