FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My "base price" includes providing services with the core high school classes (Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2) on an "in person" tutoring format at $50/hour. I provide tutoring services at $40/hour for lower level content (Pre-Algebra and below). I provide tutoring services at $65/hour for higher level content (Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, and AP Statistics). I reduce my rate by $10/hour if you are receiving your tutoring online.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide the first session as a free, no-obligation session and it lasts 30 minutes. This clears up a few things: 1) it makes sure that I am a great fit for you; 2) I can give you professional recommendations about materials that will help your student (I have turned students away because they don't need my help, I am in the business of helping students, not taking your money.) and 3) I promise that your student will understand 1 concept that previously "confused" them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for almost 10 years and have a passion for helping students. I am a certified teacher in Pasco County.
