- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on the size and complexity of the job and how many hours it will take to complete. We charge flat rates for all our jobs so there are no surprises if the job takes longer than anticipated. Vytall Handymen Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Vytall Organizing Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. We prefer to keep our weekends free for our Handymen to spend time with their families. However, we can be available, upon request, from 10am-4pm on weekends for projects over $500. We are closed during major holidays (Independence day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, and New Year's Day), but we do work during most other bank holidays.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A Technician/Specialist will discuss your project(s) over the Thumbtack chat/email. We can then meet with the customer face to face, over the phone or through facetime/video call to discuss the project needs and expected outcomes, if necessary. The Technician/Specialist provides an informal quote to ensure the customer is happy with the price. We charge flat rates for all jobs. For larger jobs, a written quote of the work to be performed as well as materials needed for the project will be provided. This will also include the payment terms for the large projects. Once the quote is signed, we can schedule the appointment. The project/work is performed & final payment is made by the customer. We always come prepared with gloves, masks and shoe covers.
