FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Usually, pricing for filing bankruptcy depends on the complexity of the case. Pricing can be as low as $1,000 for attorney fees plus the filing fee due to the bankruptcy court. Our prices reflect Attorney Kiem being with you every step of a typical bankruptcy from initial consultation, to preparation of your bankruptcy documents, to attending your meeting of creditors and other standard hearings. We DO NOT let you attend by yourself the meeting of creditors at the bankruptcy court. We DO NOT bait you with low prices and then when you come in for a consult jack you up with various add on fees or after filing fees that are claimed to be "needed" for a standard bankruptcy case. Now, if for some reason your case is one of the approximately 5% of bankruptcy cases in my experience that ends up being contested and heavily litigated, then the quoted prices herein will not apply and we will tell you that up front. We tell it straight. We keep it straight. Whether its good for our business or not.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do an initial free no obligation consultation by telephone. Usually, during the foregoing consultation we will able to advise whether filing bankruptcy is a viable option and the bankruptcy chapter that is most suited. We have flexible appointments in the evenings and on weekends.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
